The Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points - HACCP guarantees that BALSAM S.r.l applies a health and hygiene self-monitoring system with regards to food safety.
PGI
The PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) logo guarantees that the products have been produced OR processed OR prepared in the designated geographical area. At least one stage of production must be carried out in that area.
Unlike PDO products, the raw materials may come from another region.
FDA
The Food and Drug Administration – FDA is a United States government agency responsible for regulating and supervising safety.
